About Us & Our Farm

We are Amanda and Jason Lang of Lang’s Farm Shop in Broad Parkham, North Devon. Broad Parkham is a 300 acre family run farm and our family has farmed in Parkham for generations. We have 5 children, 3 of whom still live at home and help on the farm.

Jason also runs a small contracting and mechanics business alongside the farm.

Amanda runs the farm shop and tea room plus the house when time permits. Amanda's hobby is her three horses that ensure she doesn't have any spare time or money left!

Our farm dog is a collie called Lucy and she is very friendly. Your dog is welcome but we ask that you keep them on a lead as we have lots of free range poultry and rabbits, etc.


We started selling meat from the back door eight years ago and never intended it to develop into a farm shop and tea room. After successfully selling a bit of meat, veg and then serving cream teas in the garden we decided to convert the calf shed into a tea room for the rainy days!

We keep Red Ruby Devon cattle plus other commercial breeds of cattle.  Most of the corn they eat is grown and milled on the farm and we make hay and silage for winter feeding.

We keep sheep and breed our own lambs.

We keep rare breed Gloucester Old Spot X pigs.

Our farm is a real working family farm and this means there will be mud, animal noises and tractors working!

We do enjoy welcoming people to our family farm and we hope you enjoy your visit and please let us know if you need anything at all.
